First Winner + Referral Contest Extension

Congratulations to Lemasani Briggs for being the first winner in our UpTogether Referral contest! Lemasani successfully referred in 3 new UpTogether users and has earned a $150 prize for her efforts.
We've decided to extend the referral contest for another 2 weeks (referrals completed by 2/28 and additional winners to be announced on 3/1). Please use the "Invite People" link at the top of UpTogether (after logging in) to send a personal invitation to any FII Family Member who is not already in UpTogether (you can see who is already in UpTogether by clicking Browse People from the top menu). Each referral gives you the chance to win $50 and you can qualify to win with each referral.
To give more people the chance to win a referral bonus, we have added another $150 to the prize pool leaving $250 available for prizes! Be sure to refer other members of your own family as well as members of your cohort groups or social clubs. We want as many people using UpTogether as possible and would love to see you sharing your personal and group activity in the site!

It's not too late to qualify for the contest we sent out two weeks ago. Simply login to UpTogether and use the 'Invite People' menu item to refer qualified FII Family members to UpTogether and you will automatically be entered. Each referral qualifies for $50 and you can win multiple prizes! You must get your entry submitted by midnight on Valentine's Day (2/14) to qualify...

We are continually looking to improve UpTogether. To that end, we have made improvements to the search capabilities making it easier for you to find people on UpTogether you want to connect with or add to your group. Please check it out by selecting Browse Users from the menu bar on the site or by logging in and going to http://www.uptogether.org/user/browse
Features added:
Search by first name or last name
Check multiple names to invite to your groups
Invite to group button for inviting multiple people to your groups at one time

UpTogether Groups: The online place for your offline groups.

Did you know that you can create a Group in UpTogether to serve as the "online" place for your "offline" FII group? Feel free to start a group now for the FII social club you started or the FII monthly family group you participate in. Use the group feature to have online discussions with other group members between meetings (great way to suggest agenda items for your next meeting or ask for help on a new project or goal). In the very near future you will also be able to share group stories with the rest of UpTogether. Let us know what else you would like to see in the UpTogether Groups area and we will work on adding it!

Give UpTogether a try today. Create a goal. Make an offer. Start an online Group for your offline group meetings. Use this tool to share your stories and to share your skills. Be sure to have each of your family members create their own account as each one of you can get something out of participating in UpTogether!
